När folk frågar om jag saknar Sverige, brukar jag svara att det inte är Sverige jag saknar, utan min familj och mina vänner. Men när julen närmar sig, saknar jag Sverige och hur vi firar jul. Det är mysigare i Sverige och man känner mer julstämming än i Grekland. Så jag bakade lite svenska som lussekatter (eller "Lucy cats" (som min man kallar dem). Vi kunde inte äta upp allt bara vi två, så jag gav massor till våra grannar som blev super glada...

When people ask if I miss Sweden, I usually answer that I don't miss Sweden, but the people there; my family and friends. But as Christmas is coming closer, I do miss Sweden. We celebrate Christmas differently there. So I am doing Swedish Christmas sweets to feel a bit of Swedish Christmas in the house. Yesterday I made these sweet saffran bread known as lussekatter (or "lucy cats" (as my husband calls them) . Of course we could not eat all of them just the two of us, so I gave lots to our neighbours. They loved them!
