The slap

Jag läser en bok som heter "The Slap" för tillfället. Den är skriven av en grekisk / australiensisk författare som heter Christos Tsiolkas. Under en grillfest i en förort till Melbourne, slår en man en treårig pojke , alla gäster blir vittnen till den fruktansvärda händelsen och det påverkar deras liv på olika sätt. Jag skulle inte säga att jag super gillar den här boken, men är intressant. Den handlar om relationships, frågeställningar och problem i ett mångkulturellt samhälle. Personerna i boken är greker, indier, serber och vietnameser ....

I am reading a book called "The Slap" at the moment. It is written by the Greek/ Australian author Christos Tsiolkas .At a barbecue in suburban Melbourne, a man slaps a three year old boy across the face, all the party guest become witness to the horrible event and it changes and impacts their life in various ways. I wouldn't say I am crazy about this book, but is is interesting. It looks at relationships, issues and problems in a multicultural society. The characters are Greek, Indian, Serbian, Vietnamese ....
